These terms govern your use of the Charlie's Driving School student portal (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Charlies Driving School LLC ("we", "us"). When you use the Service, you are contracting with Charlies Driving School LLC. By continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

The Service lets enrolled driver education students complete course quizzes, sign school policies, view their records, and request and book Behind the Wheel lessons. It also lets students pay account fees, such as the $50 late-cancellation or no-show fee.

Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms with you.
• Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. This includes using it unlawfully, for fraud or spam, infringing anyone's intellectual property, sharing quiz answers, or interfering with security (for example malware, probing, or scraping). You must not reverse engineer, resell, or get around technical limits of the Service.

Ownership

We own the Service and its content, including software, course materials, documentation and branding. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use it for your course.

Lesson cancellations and fees

If you cancel a Behind the Wheel lesson less than 24 hours before it starts, or do not show up, a $50 fee is added to your account. While a fee is unpaid, your upcoming lessons are cancelled and you cannot book new ones. We may waive a fee at our discretion.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. See our Refund Policy for refunds.

Availability

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for a serious breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. Records we must keep for the Maryland MVA will be kept as required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Maryland.
